Swiss artist Alberto Giacometti is honored at the Musée Maillol.
The exhibition of 50 sculptures by the artist is close to 25 works by other major artists such as Rodin, Bourdelle, Maillol, Despiau, but also Brancusi, Laurens, Lipchitz, Zadkine, Csaky or Richier.
Entitled "Between tradition and modernity", the exhibition follows a chronological and thematic route. The exhibition highlights the works of youth of Giacometti, then the sculptures marking the changes born from his meeting with the Parisian avant-gardes around the years. 1925.
